SOLAR POWERED DRIPIRRIGATION WITH RAINWATER HARVESTING

The project titled “Solar Powered Drip Irrigation System with Rainwater Harvesting” aims to design a smart and sustainable irrigation system that makes effective use of renewable energy and natural water resources. The main purpose of this project is to reduce dependence on conventional electricity, decrease water wastage, and introduce automation in agriculture with the help of modern technology.
In this system, solar energy acts as the primary power source. The solar panel converts sunlight into electrical energy, which is regulated using a charge controller and stored in a rechargeable battery. This stored energy is used to operate important system components such as sensors, a microcontroller, and a water pump, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted functioning even during non-sunny hours.
