Abstract

Environmental education (EE) is fundamental in cultivating an environmentally literate society capable of addressing and mitigating current and future ecological challenges. This paper explores the critical role of EE in fostering environmental awareness, promoting sustainable behaviors, and supporting global ecological stewardship. We review relevant literature, examine successful case studies, and present data demonstrating the efficacy of environmental education programs in various contexts.
