Operations Research (OR) plays a vital role in enhancing decision-making efficiency in modern organizations. It involves the application of mathematical models, statistical techniques, and analytical methods to optimize complex business problems. In the sustainable era, OR contributes significantly to resource optimization, cost reduction, and improved productivity while ensuring environmental and social responsibility. This paper examines the importance of Operations Research in sustainable business decision-making, explores key techniques, identifies challenges, and highlights future trends. The study is conceptual in nature and supported by secondary data and theoretical insights. The findings suggest that OR tools such as linear programming, simulation, and decision theory are essential for achieving efficiency and sustainability in organizations.
