Premature and low-birth-weight infants require controlled thermal and environmental conditions for survival and healthy development. Traditional incubators often lack remote monitoring and intelligent automation, leading to inconsistent care and increased workload for medical staff. This work presents an IoT-enabled smart baby incubator that integrates temperature, humidity, and oxygen sensors with an Arduino-based control unit. The system maintains optimal neonatal conditions using a regulated heating element, DC fan for air circulation, and humidifier control. Real-time data is transmitted to a cloud platform via Wi-Fi, enabling remote monitoring and alerts for abnormal conditions. Experimental results confirm that the incubator maintains stable temperature (36–37 °C) and humidity (55–65%) within medical standards. The proposed design is cost-effective, scalable, and suitable for resource-constrained healthcare settings, offering improved neonatal safety and reduced manual intervention.
